It’s no longer news that Ipaja
resident has suffered untold hardship in the hands of traffic due to the small
size of the bridge linking so many part of the Alimosho. The Ipaja Bridge is
usually busy from morning till night expect in the thick hours of the midnight
which has suggested the need to get another bridge that can serve the people
living in this area.
In terms of population, the
residents of this area forms a larger percent of Lagos residents as far as
election is concerned. The vote garner
in this area is a major decider as far as election is concerned. My question is
why have past government neglected this area after getting so much from them in
terms for elections.
As the year goes, people of this
area will no longer vote in a non-performing governor for a second term whether
APC or PDP.
Suffering and smiling, low life
expectancy, untimely death and other factors has bedevilled this area due to
the abandonment by the Government.
There is high concentration on
highbrow areas in Lagos but as far as election is concerned, how many of them
do vote when it comes to election. Let it be told that somebody somewhere
advocated for ipaja people and henceforth no development, no second vote.
Enough is enough, Ipaja people has
been denied good life!
