Media
professionals gathered at the Nigerian Union of Journalist secretariat hall for
discussion on the contributions of the new media to the rise and fall of
leaders: Using 2015 election as a case Study.
The panellist headed by Mr Demola Oladosu, Deputy Director, News, NTA 2
Channel 5,Lagos also had Mr Wole Sokunbi, Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalist
Ogun State and Tosin Adesile, Publisher Sparklight Magazine was moderated by
Dare Adedotun of OGBC and Deji Oladosu of Bright media production.
The
event which was put together by Publishers of Sparklight Magazine is the eleventh
in its series which also gave Awards to distinguished people which includes
Elder Emmanuel Fagbenro,(State coordinator ,federal road safety marshals and
partnership in Ogun State, Alhaji Goke Rauf, Principal lecturer, Department of
Mass Comm, Moshood Abiola Polythecnic, Dr. Abayomi Jiboku, Proprietor, Taidob
College, Mr. Wale Okeowo,Walex artistery,Very Rev I. A Adeniji, Provost of the
Cathderal Church,Ake Abk,Mr. Dimeji Kayode, Premium Times reporter in Ogun
States amongst others who bagged awards of special recognition in their chosen
career.
Students
of the department of Mass Communication,
Moshood Abiola Polythecnic,Ojere also participated in the programme.
The
event is an annual programme usually organised by Bright media production,
publishers of Sparklight magazine. with the Support of the Nigerian Union of Journalists,
Ogun State Chapter.
