An accident has occurred along
Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway earlier today around 10:40pm involving a green Toyota
Camry vehicle loaded with rice and a silver Toyota camry pencil around Kobape
killing the two drivers.
The Driver of the Toyota
with green colour loaded with rice was being pursued by the officers of
Nigerian Custom officers with sporadic gunshots while the driver continued to
run for his dear life for the fear of paying huge fines despite the little money
collected to deliver the bags of rice to his client.
While he was on top speed,
the driver of the pencil Toyota camry was afraid of the gunshot thinking the
driver of the green Toyota was a thief being pursued by the police quickly took
to reversing his vehicle off the road but was unfortunately hit by the fleeing Toyota
driver met their untimely death with both cars.
Our reporter who was
there, noticed the custom officers took to their heels on noticing the
accidents involving the duo instead of saving them.
It took innocent
Nigerians time with axe to rescue the driver of Toyota loaded with rice as the car
somersaulted with the heavy rice resting on the man while the other driver died
instantly and was carried inside the Ogun traffic enforcement compliance
vehicle,(trace) while passerby blocked the road with the dead body of the
driver of the rice vehicle and the rice to show their anger on the constant
harassment of custom officers on struggling Nigerians.
